USS Texas Battleship

The USS Texas is a veteran of Vera Cruz and both World Wars. The ship was completed in 1914 and saw action in some of the most important battles of World War II. It is now located at the San Jacinto State Historic Site in La Porte, Texas near Houston.

USS Alabama

The USS Alabama is a South-Dakota class battleship that was commissioned in 1942.  It was decommissioned in 1947.

It is now preserved as a museum ship in Mobile, Alabama.  It was damaged during Hurricane Katrina.  It reopened in January of 2006.

It served as the filming location for the 1992 film Under Seige.

Cutty Sark

The Cutty Sark was one of the last clippers to be built.  It was built in 1869 in Scotland.  It is now a museum in Greenwich in London.  It inspired a brand of whisky.  On May 2007 it was extensively damaged by a fire while undergoing renovation.
