The home above (center) is the residence of pseudo-celebrity Paris Hilton.  It is the home in which she is serving her sentence under house arrest after being released early from her 23-day jail sentence.

The Playboy Mansion is the home of Playboy Magazine founder Hugh Hefner.  It is one of the most famous homes in the world.  It is known for the wild parties that are thrown by Hugh Hefner.

The house sits on 5 acres of land and is valued at approximately $50 million.  It has 22 rooms and includes the following amenities: private zoo and aviary, tennis courts, waterfall, game room, wine cellar and large pool area (including the famous grotto that can be seen above).

The Coit Tower is located atop Telegraph Hill in San Francisco.  It was built to “beautify” the city with funds donated by Lillie Hitchcock Coit.  It is 210 feet tall and is made of concrete.

Google Headquarters which is referred to as “the Googleplex” is located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043.  In 2006, Google also leased 311,000 square feet of office space at 111 Eight Ave in Manhattan, NY.  The building was specifically designed and built for Google.

The famous Hollywood Sign is located on Mt. Lee in Hollywood, California.  Each letter is 50 feet all.  The original sign used to read “HOLLYWOODLAND.”

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California was completed after more than four years of construction at a cost of $35 million and it is a visitor attraction recognized around the world. The Golden Gate Bridge opened to vehicular traffic on May 28, 1937 at twelve o’clock noon, ahead of schedule and under budget, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt pressed a telegraph key in the White House announcing the event.

The Chateau Marmont Hotel & Bungalows was built in West Hollywood, CA in 1929.  It has been the location of a series of events including:

• John Belushi died in one of the Bungalows in 1982
• Jim Morrison fell out of one of the windows of the hotel
• Led Zepellin rode their motorcycles through the lobby causing damage
• Is mentioned in the Grateful Dead song “West LA Fadeaway”
• Appears in the HBO Series Entourage

Neverland Valley Ranch is owned by American pop star Michael Jackson.  It is located in Los Olivos, California.  As seen above, it has it’s own private amusement park.  The name Neverland comes from the story Peter Pan.

The house used in exterior shots (which bears little relation to the interior design of the Bradys’ home) is located at 11222 Dilling St., North Hollywood, within the city limits of Los Angeles, California. According to a 1994 article in the Los Angeles Times, the San Fernando Valley house was built in 1959 and selected as the Brady residence because series creator Schwartz felt it looked like a home where an architect would live.

The real house is a split-level ranch home. A false window was attached to the front’s A-frame section to give the illusion it had two full stories during filming of the series’ many establishing shots, all of which took place before the program debuted.

The address of the house in the series was given as 4222 Clinton Way (or Avenue). Although no city was ever specified, it was presumed from references to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Rams, and a Hollywood movie studio, among others, that the Bradys lived in Southern California, presumably Los Angeles or one of its suburbs. In The Brady Bunch in the White House, Cindy’s map and Mike’s speech state that the family lived in Santa Monica, California.

In the years since the show first aired, those who have owned the house have had problems with visitors who trespass on the property to peep into the windows (perhaps expecting to see an interior that looked like the set of The Brady Bunch), or who even came to the front door asking to see the fictional Bradys. As a result, the property has been extensively re-landscaped, so someone casually driving by most likely would not recognize it as the house shown in the TV show. For many fans, however, it is indeed still recognizable as the Brady house.

Lombard Street is an east-west street in San Francisco, California. It is famous for having a steep, one-block section that consists of tight hairpin turns.

Lombard Street begins at The Presidio and runs east through the Cow Hollow neighborhood. For 12 blocks between Broderick Street and Van Ness Avenue, it is a principal arterial road that is co-signed as U.S. Route 101. Lombard Street then travels through the Russian Hill and Telegraph Hill neighborhoods, breaks off at a point becoming Telegraph Blvd. that leads to Pioneer Park. Finally, Lombard street terminates at The Embarcadero as a collector road.

Alcatraz Island (slang: The Rock) is a small island located in the middle of San Francisco Bay in California, United States that served as a lighthouse, then a military fortification, and then a federal prison for the area until 1963, when it became a national recreation area.

Today, the island is a historic site supervised by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and is open to tours. Visitors can reach the island by ferry ride from Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. It is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
