The Homestead Miami Speedway is located in southern Miami-Dade County in Florida.  The speedway first opened in 1995 with a NASCAR Busch Series race.  It is owned by International Speedway Corporation.

The track currently is host to Ford Championship Weekend, which is the final races of the season for NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch Series and the Craftsman Truck Series.  The track also hosts the Indy Racing League XM Satellite Radio Indy 300.

Mar-A-Lago, located in Palm Beach, Florida, is the former estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post.  It was purchased in 1985 by real estate developer Donald Trump and turned into the Mar-A-Lago Club.

The house has 58 bedrooms and 33 bathrooms and covers over 62,000 square feet of living space.  It also has 3 bomb shelters and 12 fireplaces.

Donald Trump opened up membership to the club for those who can afford the $125,000 initiation fee.

Trump has supposedly turned down an offer of over $200 million for the property from a wealthy Middle Eastern Sheikh.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a roller-coaster type ride at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Florida.  There are also rides with the same name at Disneyland (California), Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.  The Magic Kingdom ride opened in 1980.

It is based on Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is located in Hollywood, FL.  It is operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.  It is now best known as the location where Anna Nicole Smith was found dead in her hotel room.  The Casino only offers slot machines and low-stakes poker.  There are no table games.

The home pictured above currently belongs to Golf Superstar Tiger Woods.  He recently purchased another home on Jupiter Island for $54 Million which he plans to tear down and build a custom home.

The Holocaust Memorial on Miami Beach was dedicated on February 4, 1990 with Nobel laureate Elie Weisel as the guest speaker.  It is a 42-foot bronze arm that appears to be coming out of the ground.

Spaceship Earth is one of the most recognizable structures from all the Disney theme parks.  It is located at the entrance of the Epcot theme park.  It is 18 stories tall and has a ride inside by the same name. The ride features the evolution of human communication over the years.

Space Mountain is a roller coaster that is at five Disney theme parks.  The one above is from Walt Disney World in Florida. It has two roller coaster tracks inside the structure.  There are 13 trains for each side.

Busch Gardens is the name of two amusement parks in the United States owned and operated by Busch Entertainment Corporation, a division of Anheuser-Busch. One of the parks is in Tampa, Florida and the other is in Williamsburg, Virginia.  The one pictured above is located in Tampa, FL.

The former home of Gianni Versace is now a private club.

One July morning in the summer of 1997, returning from his customary walk on Ocean Drive, he was gunned down outside his ocean-front mansion in Miami Beach, Florida. He was murdered by spree killer Andrew Cunanan, who committed suicide shortly after the murder. Police reported that Andrew Cunanan had committed suicide using the same handgun that had been used to murder Gianni Versace. He was buried in Lake Como, Italy.

Cinderella Castle is the faux fairytale castle at the center of two Disney theme parks, the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disneyland at the Tokyo Disney Resort. Both serve as worldwide recognized icons for their respective theme parks.

The AmericanAirlines Arena is an arena located in downtown Miami, Florida along Biscayne Bay and is used for basketball games and concerts. It was constructed as a replacement for the Miami Arena and was designed by the architecture firms Arquitectonica and 360 Architecture.

The AmericanAirlines Arena is home to the Miami Heat of the NBA.  Also located at the arena site is a Bongo’s Cafe which is owned by Glorida Estefan.  It is just out of the picture above to the bottom right.  You can see a giant pineapple on top if you click through to the live map.
