Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the second-oldest suriving automobile race track in the world behind the Milwaukee Mile.  It is home to the Indy Racing League’s Indianaplis 500  and NASCAR’s Brickyard 400.

Pictured above is the start/finish line which has a three-foot wide line of bricks.  The track used to be all bricks until it was converted to asphalt.
